Treys Lowen - Happy Feet!

Treys Lowen means 'Happy Feet' in the Cornish language!

Based in the hall at Gwealan Tops Adventure Playground in Redruth, these folkie fundays are family friendly sessions suitable for all ages and abilities. 

Sessions are running every third Monday of the month until June as a pilot – and we’ll be continuing from September!

Come and explore Cornwall’s rich folk music and dance traditions, get active and have fun in these relaxed sessions with your little ones!

Important Info
  • All ages and abilities welcome, no previous experience neccessary
  • Sessions will be run by Lowender representitives who are DBS checked in line with our Safeguarding Policy & Procedures
  • There is plenty of free parking right outside the hall. The nearest train and bus station is Redruth, which is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the venue. 
  • The hall is fully accessible and has a changing space toilet. 
  • There are baby changing facilities, and there’s space to park up prams.  
  • Wear clothes you feel comfortable in, and ideally hard soled shoes (though this isn’t essential)
  • Bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated. There will be free tea, coffee and squash available, and drinking water to top up your bottle. 
  • No dogs, other than guide dogs, are permitted
  • We’ll have a mixture of live and pre-recorded music, depending on availability of musicians. 
Please Note:
  • All under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult for the whole session, no drop offs permitted.
  • This is an event aimed at all ages and we hope everyone will feel comfortable and inspired to join in.
  • You are welcome to sit on the side and observe though – no pressure!
