The Cornwall Youth Folk Ensemble is a new venture with ASONE launched in the summer of 2024 aiming to create an ensemble celebrating distinctly Cornish Celtic music.
The Youth Advisory Committee is a group of young people who advise the board of Lowender. They ensure that young peoples views are represented in the running of the organisation and hold us accountable to the future that they want.
At Lowender 2023, a special session took place during the Prys Lowen (happy hour), open to anyone, but specifically for younger players and singers on the ‘inner circle’, starting the tunes/songs and setting the pace with a mixture of songs from Cornwall and across the Celtic world.
